My Favorite Products

Note: I try really hard to eat fresh fruit & veggies but having these pantry items as fall-backs is oh-so-nice.

This list is a work in progress. I'm often adding so check back often and send in your own favorites and feedback:

Sweet Stuff
Enjoy Life Brand -- Dark Chocolate Chips (I eat wayyyyy too many of these in a week #sorrynotsorry)
Cherrybrook Kitchen (most mixes are safe but I liked the yellow cake mix in particular)
Breads From Anna brand mixes (LOVE the maple pancake mix & black bean brownies)
Immaculate Brand (I tried & liked GF sugar cookie mix)
Namaste Foods (I tried & liked their pancake mix)
Homefree Foods Cookies
Made Good Oatmeal minis (come highly recommended by others, but never tried by me)

Other brands with safe sweet to check out:  Arrowhead Mills, King Arthur Flour, Bob's Red Mill, Hodgson Mill, Glutino, Full Circle
**Remember to always read the labels on all of these products prior to purchase!**

Breads & Cereals
Rotella's Bread (you don't have to give up this local favorite many flavors are safe!)
Udi's Breads (and muffins, tortillas, bagels, etc)
EnviroKids Gorilla Munch, etc
Kashi -  lots cold & hot cereal varieties are options
Nature's Path
Kind
Tortillas (cheese-less tacos are a staple at my house every other week)  LaTortilla Factory GF Wrap, Mission Organic Flour Tortillas (these taste best & hold together best IMO)
*Lots of Kellogg's cereals are okay but I just don't eat them for other reasons
Quaker, Cream of Wheat and OATMEAL in various brands are great for protein -
and I've heard steel cut oats can even increase milk supply

Misc Cooking & Condiments
EarthBalance SoyFree Natural Buttery Spread (red tub)
Oil -- watch out for this! Soy is sneaky here -- make sure to use olive oil, canola oil, grapeseed oil or something similiar. **Even check cooking SPRAY (PAM high heat grill spray is one I found to be soy-free)
Salad Dressings (Hilary's, Brianna's, and Annie's Natural Salad Dressings- many of the vinaigrettes are ok (I often just do splashes of extra virgin olive oil with black pepper for my salads though to limit ingredients)

Misc Snacks
Larabars
Rx Bars
Popcorn
Annie's Homegrown Bunny Fruit Snacks
*Some  Keebler & Nabisco snacks qualify but again I don't eat then for other reasons

Chips
I didn't really eat chips prior to this but they've become, albeit not super healthy go-to option.
--Late July, Pop Chips Garden of Eatin, Full Circle, Boulder Creek, Jackson's Honest are just a few of the brands I've liked (a little too much).

Meats
I don't eat hot dogs but many brands to qualify so message me for specific brand suggestions if you'd like
Applegate Farms--love the Uncured Sunday Bacon, Oven Roasted Turkey, Honey Ham, Peppered Turkey breakfast sausage, and more
JustBare chicken
GoldnPlump Chicken (all natural line)
Laura's Lean Beef
*Just be really careful for added ingredients in packaged meat. Sounds silly but could contain casein and no-go additives.

Beverages
Rice Dream Milk (all flavors)
Blue Diamond Almond Breeze
Pacific Natural Foods Organic Oat Milk
Full Circle Rice & Almond Milk
Silk Pure Almond
Coconut Dream (all flavors)
So Delicious Coconut Milk (oooo and this brand ice cream!:)
*Anyone who happens to also be trying to eliminate corn and reading this, I can get you some great #cornfree #beer options if you'd like--send me a message!

**Remember to always read the labels on all of these products prior to purchase!**

NOTES:
I know this is not an all-encompassing list by any means. I do have longer lists for each category and have tried others in each category, but these are MY personal favorites. I have found these brands and products at many different grocery stores including Target, Hy-Vee, Natural Grocers, Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, among others.

My MSPI Story

Hi, I'm Blair. I am a working mom to two kids, one toddler boy and one baby girl. Around two months old, my sweet girl started experiencing some symptoms of dairy intolerance (contact me separately if you're just at start of your journey and curious about what specifically made me curious to look into this).  Her pediatrician agreed enough to recommend removing both from my diet. Sigh.  We've since had her blood tested for a few common allergen foods, and thank goodness she has no actual allergy but rather intolerance/sensitivities at this point - to many dairy and soy based foods as well as possibly corn and beef at this point. At first, it was rough to go #dairyfree and #soyfree. Then I found websites like MSPIMAMA (Check.It.Out. No, I don't know her, but wowza is that a lot of great info) and others.  There are recipes galore on Pinterest and everywhere if you just type it in your browser but I kept finding that there was potential for so many more ingredients ...

Welcome!

Glad you're here. I am here to: Save you time Decrease your stress levels Be a resource (and a cheerleader) Breastfeeding, "Mom-ing" and dinner time are each hard enough on their own. Let me help you take something off your plate --by putting something MSPI safe on your plate, without you having to do spend all your time researching recipes and reading labels. I'm not a personal chef, nor dietitian nor doctor, BUT I'm a mom who has been there, and is still there, deep in the weedy, dairy free/soy free trenches. And even a few other food allergens as well. You (probably) have a hair lady, maybe an eyebrow lady, a makeup lady, etc -- let me be your MSPI lady! Side note: Is it just me or is MSPI a total tongue twister sometimes? Maybe that part is just me, but what I think we can all agree is that pre-packaged, pre-portioned and on-the-go snacks are hard to have ready, especially with this new lifestyle and diet restrictions thrown in. Take a peek ar...
