Hi, I'm Blair. I am a working mom to two kids, one toddler boy and one baby girl. Around two months old, my sweet girl started experiencing some symptoms of dairy intolerance (contact me separately if you're just at start of your journey and curious about what specifically made me curious to look into this). Her pediatrician agreed enough to recommend removing both from my diet. Sigh.
We've since had her blood tested for a few common allergen foods, and thank goodness she has no actual allergy but rather intolerance/sensitivities at this point - to many dairy and soy based foods as well as possibly corn and beef at this point.
At first, it was rough to go #dairyfree and #soyfree. Then I found websites like MSPIMAMA (Check.It.Out. No, I don't know her, but wowza is that a lot of great info) and others. There are recipes galore on Pinterest and everywhere if you just type it in your browser but I kept finding that there was potential for so many more ingredients or increased prep time than I was used to. And go out to eat or buy something already made? Fahget about it.
(Oh man, typing and then saying fahget about it like that made me want Italian food.
I digress. Let's focus: CONVENIENCE IS KEY. I was constantly telling people, "I wish there was just pre-made tupperwares full of peanuts and MSPIsafe chocolate chips so I didn't have to pour things I want together myself" or "um could someone just give me a grocery list so I don't have to spend 2 hours reading labels at the store all of a sudden?" Yes, I fully realize #firstworldproblems. Soon enough, I started to enjoy the challenge and thought oh hey --could I meal plan and do these things for other people who are struggling to find the time and the food? After putting it off for a few months, the universe kept showing me signs I should kick off this little blog/mini business. Here we are.

Other notes:
My husband and I started #21DayFix approximately two years ago and have kind of been living that lifestyle since more or less. I'd like to say my heathy-ish, mostly whole food (85/15%) "diet" really made transitioning initially easier, but as days and months go on, I still find it hard to find options, motivation, etc. On those days, I go back to the basics.
It's doable. By no means is this me saying you MUST do any and all the things to continue your breastfeeding relationship (#fedisbest); however, if you WANT to indeed keep calm and carry on, I can help! We can do this together! And one day, soon enough, we won't have to anymore! And on that day, I'm having the ooey-gooey-cheesiest pizza I can find! :)
